Be Tight, Not Cheap

The one thing I have noticed about people with money is they are not cheap people. They give, give, give. They give of their time, their services and their money. They are open and honest and friendly.

People that want to be rich are the complete opposite.  They are greedy self centred and treat people badly. They think that the way to be rich and above every body else is to put everybody down. They waste their money and blame others for their own mistakes.

The rich are tight and savvy, wannabes are cheap and stupid.

So why the difference? Rich people have learnt that the best way to be create wealth in their lives is not to waste money and help others that need it. They realise that you get back in spades what you put out.

Simply, if you put out happiness, you will get more of it back. If put out love, you get more of it back. If you put out love, respect, honesty and courage, you get more of it back. And if you give money to those that need it, you will also get it back, more than you put out.

Wannabes put out arrogance, rudeness, contempt and distain. And that's what they get back. As they are also cheap and don’t give out any money. They just spend it on themselves and never help other people. They are selfish and never lift a finger to help others.

That doesn’t mean that rich people just waste money. They are careful with their spending and ensure that it is all accounted for. They save money and don’t just fritter it away.

Wannabe’s waste their money. They spend on anything they can and keep no records of the actions. They don’t save any money and blow the lot. And then they have to go back to work and start all over again.

So  what is the moral of this story. Be tight, not cheap. Start saving money, keep good track of your money, help other in need, smile and be polite to others and give of yourself, that is treat other people how you would like to be treated. It will make you feel good, and you will get back what you put out.

If you don’t believe me then go out and try it. That doesn’t mean you should just give all your money away. It means start saving some money, and help somebody and smile.

At the very least it can’t hurt.
