Another Wasted Resolution

Are your tired of making resolutions that you don’t keep? Are you sick of saying that you will achieve your dreams this year only to let them slip away again? Do you want change in your life? Do you want to be successful and have everything you have always wanted?

At the beginning of the year most people set a New Year’s resolution. They decide that they will give up drinking, smoking or they will lose weight, take more time off or a thousand other things. Yet within two weeks that person has giving up on their resolution and is back to their old habits.

Why do they give up so easy? The answer is simple; they do not have drive or commitment. Their New Year’s resolution was made on the spare of the moment and they never had any real intention of following it, in fact you will find that most people plan to break their resolution as soon as they can.

However, some people do continue and they start making great changes in their lives. They lose their weight, they stop drinking, they make lots of money and they live their dreams. They do this because they have drive and commitment in their lives. They are believed that if they don’t follow through that they will feel like a failure. Plus they can see the rewards in their minds if they take a small step every day to achieve their dreams.

The most important aspect of the process is the person that goes on to achieve their dreams has taken their New Year’s Resolution and turned it into a goal. It has stopped being an off handed comment to being a real need.

So that is what you have to do. Turn your resolution into a goal. Commit to it with all of your heart and get some drive to push you through. Then you too will see some changes in your life.
